Dude, this is an awesome shot. Very pretty bird! You got the focus just right, which I have trouble with on the smaller, quicker birds.
I've not been anywhere with an outdoors aviary yet. I've been to a few zoos with the "greenhouse" styled ones, and the NC Zoo's has some very good lighting.
